Cookies & Browser Storage
Cookies are only one way a website remembers a visit. This storefront also uses local and session storage.

What these technologies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Local storage can remain after closing a tab, while session storage normally lasts for that tab’s session. They can remember sign-in, a shopping bag or preferences, and can also support activity measurement.
Accounts and shopping features
Supabase authentication uses browser cookies to maintain sign-in. The current storefront stores shopping-bag and preference data locally under airballooon-demo-v1, and saved addresses may be stored under account-specific airballooon-addresses- keys. Session storage also remembers whether you dismissed the sign-in prompt. On shared devices, sign out and clear site data when finished.
First-party analytics
Activity measurement uses airballooon.analytics.anonymous in local storage and airballooon.analytics.session, airballooon.analytics.landing and airballooon.analytics.source in session storage. These connect visits with product engagement and referral or campaign information. Recorded events are sent to the storefront’s database.
Current consent limitations
This page explains storage; it is not a consent banner. The current prototype does not yet provide a consent preference control that blocks optional analytics before permission or stops them after withdrawal. That control and the final storage inventory must be completed before launch. Simply continuing to browse is not treated here as confirmation that you accepted optional tracking.
Advertising and external services
A Meta Pixel has not been integrated into the current storefront. If advertising tracking is added, this notice and the actual consent controls must be updated before it is enabled. External payment pages may use their own cookies and privacy notices.
Your browser controls
You can inspect, remove or restrict cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Clearing local storage removes local preferences and shopping-bag data, but not server records. Blocking all storage may prevent sign-in or other features from working, and clearing data alone does not stop the current prototype from creating new analytics identifiers on a later visit.
See our Privacy Policy for how information is used.
